(Mitologia Grega): é a
personificação
da luz do dia e
do ciclo
matinal, filha da noite
e irmã do
crepúsculo.
HEMERA é a deusa grega primordial que
personifica a luz do dia e
o ciclo da manhã.
Filha de Érebo (a escuridão) e de
Nix (a noite),ela é a
contraparte exata da sua mãe.
Segundo a cosmogonia,
Hemera e Nix habitavam o
mesmo palácio no Tártaro,
mas nunca se encontravam
pessoalmente: quando
Hemera saía para iluminar o
Mundo, Nix recolhia-se, num
ciclo eterno de transição entre
a luz e as trevas.
HEMERA was
the primodial
Goddess (protogenos), of the
day. She was a daughter of
Erebos (Darkness) and Nyx
(Night), and the sister and
wife of Aither (Aether,
Heavenly Light).
Hemera and Nyx inhabited the
same palace in Tartarus
but never met in person: when
Hemera went out to illuminate the
world, Nyx withdrew, in
an eternal cycle of transition between
light and darkness.
